المملكة: 4 main stations included in the Riyadh Metro. Learn about them in detail
The stations are equipped with various services, including shops, public parking, ticket outlets and customer service offices.
The project also includes five transfer stations between the different metro routes, and they are integrated with the bus network, aiming to facilitate the movement of passengers between levels of the public transportation network in the city of Riyadh.
Riyadh metro stations
The four main stations are:
Qasr Al-Hukm station
In the center of Riyadh, next to the Eid prayer hall, at the intersection of metro route No. (1) Olaya Street – Al Batha axis, and metro route No. (3) Medina Road axis – Prince Saad bin Abdul Rahman I Road.
King Abdullah Financial Center Station
It is located on the eastern side of the King Abdullah Financial Center on King Fahd Road, at the intersection of Metro Route No. (1) Olaya Street – Al Batha axis, Metro Route No. (4) King Khalid International Airport axis, and Metro Route No. (6) Abdul Street axis. Al-Rahman bin Awf – Sheikh Hassan bin Hussein bin Ali Road.
Western station
It is located in the Al-Suwaidi Al-Gharbi neighborhood, specifically in the central vegetable market, at the intersection of metro route No. (3), Medina Road axis – Saad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Awal Road, and the designated bus route on Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Latif Street.
station STC
It is located south of King Abdullah Road, at the intersection of Metro Route No. (1) Olaya – Al Batha axis, and Metro Route No. (2) King Abdullah Road axis.
Riyadh Metro Fleet
The project includes a huge fleet of trains that includes 190 trains and 452 cars, produced by major international companies such as the German Siemens, the Canadian Bombardier, and the French Alstom. The project also provides 19 parking sites distributed along the various paths of the network.
It is noteworthy that the Riyadh Metro project consists of 6 tracks, 3 of which have been operated so far, namely: The first track, the “Blue Line”,: Olaya – Batha axis. Fourth track “Yellow Line”: King Khalid International Airport Road axis. The sixth route “Purple Line”: the axis of Abdul Rahman bin Awf Road – Sheikh Hassan bin Hussein bin Ali Road.
