Canva will also provide newly established small and medium-sized companies in Dubai and the Emirates with access to advanced service packages within its specialized design and visual communication platform, with the aim of enabling these companies, later upon the official launch, to benefit from advanced tools in the fields of design, productivity and innovation, which contributes to enhancing their digital presence, simplifying content creation processes, and stimulating innovation, without the need for specialized design expertise.
The Canva platform was developed to enable everyone to design. The platform meets the creativity and design needs of organizations, small businesses, consumers, and students in more than 190 countries around the world.
Canva’s market value is estimated at about $42 billion, and more than 260 million people use it monthly, while more than 40 billion designs have been created through its platform.
More than 54 million designs were created on Canva in the United Arab Emirates during the year 2025 alone, and one out of every eight Internet users in the country currently uses the platform.
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama said that Dubai continues to consolidate its position as an attractive global center for technology and digital innovation companies, through a flexible and supportive business environment and advanced infrastructure that keeps pace with developments in the digital economy, stressing the commitment to providing platforms and tools that enable companies to grow and expand in Dubai, especially in the creative sectors that rely on artificial intelligence and advanced solutions.

For his part, Cliff Obrecht said that Dubai embraces millions of individuals who build and innovate on a large scale, and this cooperation reflects the shared belief in the power of creativity and technology.
He added that establishing the company’s regional headquarters in Dubai allows us to work closer with small companies, institutions and creative people throughout the region, and enable them to access the “Canva” toolkit to turn their ideas into reality, and we are excited to contribute to Dubai’s achievements.
