Jordan announces the arrival of the first Jordanian humanitarian aid convoys to Syria
The Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization announced the arrival of a humanitarian aid convoy to Syrian territory under the direction of King Abdullah II, and as part of ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian support to our Syrian brothers. The Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization stated – in a statement today, Wednesday – that the aid consists of 10 trucks loaded with 200 tons of food and relief materials, which include food parcels and basic relief materials to meet the needs of affected families. The Commission explained that this convoy comes in response to the directives of the wise Hashemite leadership in support of humanitarian work, and in continuation of Jordan’s pioneering role in supporting our Syrian brothers in light of the circumstances they are going through.
