The General Traffic Department revealed the most prominent (3) causes of traffic accidents in 2023 in the Qassim region.
She explained that the driver’s use of a portable device in his hand while driving the vehicle is the main cause of traffic accidents in the Qassim region, followed by sudden deviation and not leaving sufficient distance between vehicles.

The General Traffic Department called on vehicle drivers to adhere to traffic regulations and rules and road traffic safety in all regions of the Kingdom.
