Mohammed bin Rashid issues two decrees promoting some members of the judiciary in the Dubai Courts and the Public Prosecution

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in his capacity as Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, issued Decree No. (71) of 2024 and Decree No. (72) of 2024 promoting (96) members of the judiciary in Emirate of Dubai.

The promotions included the promotion of 24 judges to the rank of “first judge of cassation,” 16 judges to the rank of “judge of cassation,” 18 judges to the rank of “judge of appeal,” and 4 judges to the sixth rank of judge of first instance.

The promotions also included the promotion of 10 members of the Public Prosecution to the rank of “Senior Public Prosecutor,” 22 members to the rank of “General Attorney,” and two members to the rank of “Chief Prosecutor.”

Al Humaidan, Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Courts, His Excellency Counselor Muhammad Mubarak Al-Sabousi, Head of the Judicial Inspection Service, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Saboosi, Secretary General of the Judicial Council in the Emirate of Dubai, thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Chairman of the Judicial Council, for their support. The ongoing efforts of the judicial authority and its members, and their Highnesses’ keenness to promote distinguished members of the judiciary to assume the highest judicial and leadership tasks in a way that enhances the efficiency of the work of the judicial system in the Emirate of Dubai.
