The President witnesses the graduation of the first batch from Zayed Military University

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the first batch of Zayed Military University in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs, the families of the martyrs, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al. Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, and a number of ministers. The ceremony, which was held at the university headquarters, was also attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Pilot Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, along with a number of leaders of the Armed Forces, senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Defence.

The ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem and a fragrant recitation of the Holy Quran.

Major General Michael Simon John, President of Zayed Military University, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees. He said that the graduation of this class demonstrates our commitment to providing comprehensive military and academic education to our candidates, noting that high-quality continuing education, with distinguished training in military and leadership skills, constitutes the cornerstone of building strength and effectiveness. necessary to qualify cadres who contribute to protecting their homeland.

He added that the university aims to qualify its graduates and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve the nation’s security and preserve its gains.

During the ceremony, His Highness the President handed over certificates and awards to a number of distinguished graduates in academic and military performance.

At the end of the ceremony, memorial photos were taken of His Highness the President of the State with the graduates.
