Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi: Program "Asian Jiu-Jitsu" It contributes to the sustainability of the game’s development

Abu Dhabi, December 12 / WAM / His Excellency Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, President of the Emirati and Asian Federations, First Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, stressed the importance of the Jiu-Jitsu development program in improving the game and enhancing its spread, calling on the 123 referees and coaches participating in the program to benefit from development initiatives on the continent.
This came during his visit today to the program headquarters at the Fatima Bint Mubarak Women’s Sports Academy in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Fahd Ali Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the UAE and Asian Jiu-Jitsu Federations.
Al Hashemi praised the efforts made by the Olympic Council of Asia, its development initiatives, and its pivotal role in implementing programs that support the advancement of sports on the continent in general, and jiu-jitsu in particular. He said that the response and interaction he witnessed from the referees and coaches participating in the program reflects its many benefits and aspects. The great positivity in keeping pace with the development the game is witnessing globally.
Al Hashemi spoke to the lecturers about the efforts undertaken by the Asian Confederation in organizing tournaments, adopting programs to enhance the development of the game, and ensuring the implementation of initiatives that contribute to empowering talent in Asian countries and motivating them to reach the best competitive levels, expressing his confidence that such programs will lead to The spread of the game, and its reaching the best levels in the world, due to the sustainable growth it is witnessing in various programs and tournaments, starting from Abu Dhabi, which is the global capital of Jiu-Jitsu.
For its part, the Olympic Council of Asia was keen to honor His Excellency Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi and give him a memorial shield on the occasion of his attendance at the program’s activities in Abu Dhabi, and in appreciation of the cooperation between the Asian Jiujitsu Federation and the Olympic Council of Asia in implementing development programs.
