Declared Ministry of Health provided more than 2.5 million Health service For the guests of God since the beginning of Hajj season until the twelfth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, through integrated readiness that combined operational efficiency, institutional integration, and modern technologies, to provide more efficient, quality, and innovative health services to the guests of God.
The Ministry’s data revealed that the total number of beneficiaries of health center and urgent care services reached 114,889 beneficiaries, while emergency departments received 58,462 cases.
29,846 beneficiaries visited outpatient clinics, In addition to hospitalizing 8,342 cases, and performing 410 surgical operations, including 323 cardiac catheterizations and 33 open-heart surgeries.
These numbers reflect the extent of the advanced medical preparedness that the Kingdom has made available to serve pilgrims.
292,585 preventive services
While the health system intensified its awareness, preventive and treatment efforts, providing more than 292,585 preventive services, In addition to receiving more than 1,001,468 calls through the unified call center (937), which provided its health and advisory services in 7 languages and around the clock.
Employing specific technologies
This year’s Hajj season witnessed the use of specific technologies, most notably the use of drones. "Drone" To speed up the medical supply and transfer of medicines and supplies.
In addition to expanding telemedicine services and digital systems to support field teams and enhance the speed of medical decision-making through the Seha Virtual Hospital.
In addition to performing surgical operations using medical robotics technologies, and employing smart watches to monitor vital indicators remotely for pilgrims whose health condition requires it, which embodies the health system’s ability to develop innovative solutions that improve the experience of the pilgrims year after year.
