The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, in cooperation with Trucker, the leading digital platform for land freight in the region, launched the “Logisti” digital platform in partnership with the private sector, to provide commercial transportation services to customers and the business sector, manage the fleet of commercial logistical transportation vehicles, and provide booking and tracking services. upon request. Its launch contributes to achieving a qualitative shift in the logistics sector, strengthening Dubai’s position as a leading destination for logistics services in the region, redefining the process of transporting goods in Dubai, linking customers with commercial transport service providers, and improving user service by providing services characterized by efficiency, ease and reliability.
His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, said: The launch of the “Logisti” platform comes as a translation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai (may God protect him), in enhancing the global competitiveness of the Emirate of Dubai as a A leading center for finance, business and economics, and supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to consolidate the position of the Emirate of Dubai as one of the three best economic cities in the world. It also comes in line with the strategy of commercial and land logistics transport in the Emirate. Dubai 2030, the road map and associated projects, aiming to double the direct contribution of the commercial transport and land logistics sector to the emirate’s economy, to 16.8 billion dirhams, raise the rate of technology adoption in the sector’s infrastructure by 75%, and improve operating efficiency by 10%.

Al Tayer stressed that the launch of the “Logisti” platform demonstrates the authority’s commitment to providing innovative, high-quality solutions that put the needs of the population at the heart of its operations, as well as strengthening the partnership with the private sector, through cooperation with Turker, to benefit from the advanced technology that the company provides in the field of services. The platform will officially launch its services to customers starting in December 2024, as it will provide advanced solutions for transporting goods, keeping pace with the latest innovations in this field.
