14 people were killed after a building collapsed in Lebanon

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that 14 people were killed as a result of the collapse of a residential building in the city of Tripoli, and added that search and rescue operations had ended.
The agency quoted the Director General of Civil Defense, General Imad Khraish, as saying that the operations had ended and that eight people had been rescued. Officials said yesterday, Sunday, that two adjacent buildings collapsed.
The Civil Defense stated earlier that the two buildings were inhabited by 22 people.
