Wide participation in the Madinat Zayed Camel Auction
ABU DHABI, 15 December / WAM / The Sin Al Haqiq Races competitions at the Madinat Zayed Mazayna, the third leg of the 18th edition of the Al Dhafra Festival, which took place today, witnessed the participation of 507 purebred camels, for the local, majahim, purebred and Al Wadah categories, within 15 races dedicated to the camels of Their Highnesses the Sheikhs and sons of… Tribes, while competitions continue at the camel auction platform in Madinat Zayed in the area Al Dhafra in Abu Dhabi until December 19.
The guest of honor, Mohammed bin Fadel Al Hameli, and Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Acting Executive Director of the Festivals and Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, crowned the winners of the competitions, amid a large presence of camel owners, lovers of heritage auctions, and visitors to the auctions.
This morning, the camels participating in the rounds of Al-Sharayya, Al-Talad, and partners from the local and Al-Majahim, and Al-Lakaya hybrids, Al-Asayel and Al-Wadh, entered Shabok for the overnight stay, in preparation for presenting them to the relevant committees, and the results will be announced tomorrow evening.
