The Saudi Postal Corporation “Sabil” won the “Best Digital Service” award in recognition of its outstanding efforts in providing innovative, pioneering technical solutions.
This is about the “National Short Address” service as one of the geospatial capabilities within the activities of the Digital Government Forum 2024.

This achievement reflects Subul’s commitment to its pioneering role as a national operator that contributes to enhancing the Kingdom’s position at the local and international levels.
This is done by providing added value based on an integrated and distinct digital experience, and providing innovative technical solutions that meet the aspirations of users and keep pace with their renewed needs.

This achievement also embodies the efforts of the Saudi Postal Corporation to facilitate the lives of citizens and residents and enhance the quality of services provided, within the framework of an advanced digital infrastructure that enhances the efficiency of government and commercial transactions, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Comprehensive spatial identity

The National Address is a comprehensive and integrated spatial identity for individuals, designed in accordance with the highest international standards. This unified system relies on covering all regions and cities of the Kingdom, making it a locally and internationally recognized system.
It was approved by the Council of Ministers in 1434 AH/2013 AD, to be the main reference for addressing in the Kingdom.
The National Address also received many local and international accreditations, by being chosen as one of the global references for addressing methods within the International Addressing Standard document.
Its compliance with the international standard was certified by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), which enhanced the efficiency of logistical operations, effectively contributed to reducing errors related to addresses, and increased the delivery success rate from the first attempt to a rate of 96%.

Gold level certificate

Last November, the Saudi Postal Corporation “Subul” obtained a gold level certificate in security standards from the Universal Postal Union (UPU) for Subul’s work related to the application of postal security standards for international supply chains, and its commitment to implementing the Union’s strategy that aims to build the capabilities of postal institutions in the field of security. Postal.

This came during the meetings of the Postal Investment Council in its second session of 2024, which was recently held in the Swiss capital, Bern.
