Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed opens a new branch and operations center at Emirates NBD Bank in Al Ain

Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan was briefed on the work mechanism of the branch and center, which were launched in cooperation with the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, within the “Nafis” initiative, and in line with the bank’s plan to expand its business in the city of Al Ain and enhance the Emiratisation strategy that it has been pursuing. Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the initiatives that promote economic and social development in the country, stressing that this project reflects Emirates NBD’s commitment to supporting national cadres and expanding its presence in the city of Al Ain.

He also praised the advantages of the new branch, which was designed in compliance with the “LEED” certification for energy and environment, in order to provide various banking services, including commercial financing, banking compliance, business bank accounts, and credit services, in addition to the operating mechanism that will enable the bank to process more than 350,000 transactions annually at Run it at full capacity.

The new center currently includes 109 female and national employees, and there is a plan to increase the number to 400 employees during the next three years, which reflects the bank’s commitment to empowering young national cadres.

The opening of the branch and operations center comes within the framework of the bank’s expansion plan in Al Ain, as the number of bank branches in the city currently stands at five, including two branches of Emirates NBD and three branches of Emirates Islamic.

The management of Emirates NBD Bank confirmed its commitment to achieving a 45% representation of the country’s citizens in the workforce by 2026. Through this initiative, the bank aims to provide a prosperous work environment that allows professional and personal development for employees, with a focus on empowering the next generation of Emirati cadres.
