Saud bin Saqr witnesses a band concert "Quad strings" In Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah, 16 December / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, witnessed this evening, in the presence of His Excellency Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, and a number of officials, the concert of the Imperial Palace String Quartet – National Symphony Orchestra of China – held at the Ras Al Khaimah Creative Cultural Centre.
The ceremony was organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the country, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China, and to emphasize the depth of cultural ties and close friendship between them.
His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah praised the growing strategic relations with China in various fields, which have become a model of fruitful cooperation aimed at achieving prosperity and well-being.
His Highness stressed that the arts, especially classical music, are a global bridge for cultural communication, embody human values and highlight joint creativity between different cultures, noting that this concert reflects the fruitful cultural exchange with China.
His Highness pointed out that Ras Al Khaimah’s hosting of this artistic event comes within the framework of the emirate’s keenness to strengthen its position as a global cultural destination that embraces arts and creativity, and that these events contribute to building bridges of civilizational dialogue with peoples, and consolidate common human values, which enriches the cultural and artistic scene in the emirate. .
The audience enjoyed a wonderful musical show, as the band presented a group of classical pieces, including ancient Chinese works and world-famous ones, in a performance that blends heritage and creativity.
