The rowing team wins 12 medals in the Thailand International Championship

Puthamunto – Thailand, December 16 / WAM / Our modern national rowing team concluded its participation in the Thai International Championship, which was held in the city of Puthamunto, by winning 12 colorful medals in the competitions that were held during the period from 14 to 16 December, with wide participation from the teams of the Asian continent.
The medals of the players of the UAE modern rowing team varied in several categories and competitions, as Ahmed Khamis Al Hammadi won the gold in the men’s singles “open”, and the silver in the men’s singles “over 30 years”, and Hamad Saeed Al Matroushi won the gold in the “over 40 years” category.
Sultan Ahmed Al Shamsi won the individual gold in the 23-year-old category and the individual silver in the 19-year-old category, and Hamad Amer Al Shamsi won the individual gold in the 19-year-old category.
In the doubles competitions, Ahmed Khamis Al Hammadi and Khamis Ghanem Al Shamsi won gold in the men’s “over 30 years” category, Hamad Saeed Al Matrooshi and Khamis Ghanem Al Shamsi won gold in the “over 40 years” category, and Sultan Ahmed Al Shamsi and Hamad Amer Al Shamsi won gold in the “19 years” category.
In the rowing machine races, Khamis Ghanem Al Shamsi won first place and the gold medal in the “over 40 years” category, Bushra Ibrahim Qadri won the silver medal in the “19 years” category, and her colleague Shamsa Sultan Al Sheryani won the bronze medal in the same category.
