The death of former Tunisian national team star Munther Msakni

The former player for the Tunisian national team, Esperance, and the Tunisian stadium, Munther Msakni, died at the age of 65 after suffering a sudden health crisis on Thursday.
The late father of three sons, all of whom were football players, namely Youssef, Ihab, and Aziz Al-Maskani, suffered an emergency crisis, as a result of which he was transferred to the hospital before his death was announced.
Msakni, the father of the Tunisian Esperance star and its captain, Youssef Msakni, is considered one of the most prominent players in the eighties and early nineties of the last century, as he was one of the prominent strikers in his parent club, Olympic Transport Club, before moving to Esperance, in the year 1992.
Munther Msakni, born in the capital, Tunis, in September 1960, carried the colors of the Tunisian national team, in more than 30 international matches, in addition to his experience in the major clubs in the Premier League.
The late player defended the colors of the Olympic Transport Club, then the Tunisian Stadium, Esperance Sportive Club, and CS Sfaxien.
Many Tunisian clubs published condolence statements and obituaries for Msakni, while the Tunisian Football Federation published an emotional statement in which it mourned the former international player.
