Director Rami Imam said that his father, the artist Adel Imam, did not retire from art, and that he would return to acting immediately if he found a unique and personal artistic story that he had not appeared in before.
He pointed out in an interview with a satellite channel that Adel Imam presented almost all artistic styles, and there is nothing new that can be added to his long artistic career.

Immunity to rumours

Rami confirmed that Adel Imam is in good health, denying the rumors that haunt him from time to time and claiming that he is ill, stressing that he is in good health and is enjoying his life with his grandchildren.
He explained that the leader follows the rumors that are said about him, and that he is sometimes affected by them, but he trusts his audience and understands that they are normal things.
The leader’s son denied that his father’s concealment and absence from the scene was a result of his advanced age, or his affliction with senile diseases, as was rumored. He said that such rumors fall under the category of rumors to which the family has become accustomed.
Rami said that, like Adel Imam’s family, they have become immune to rumors and have become accustomed to them since their childhood, and they do not care about them. For example, when his father was having dinner in a restaurant, he was immediately told that he owned that restaurant, or he lived in a new apartment, and it was said that he owned the entire building.

“Valentino” series

The leader’s last artistic appearance was in 2020 through the series “Valentino”, which achieved great success and received wide interaction from the audience.
The series revolves around Nour Abdel Hamid, known as “Valentino,” and his wife Afaf, who run a chain of schools called “Valentino Schools.”
With the strong influence of the school, many disagreements arise between them throughout the events of the work, which leads to exciting adventures and surprises.
The series was written by Ayman Bahjat Qamar, directed by Rami Imam, and many artists participated in the tournament, such as Dalal Abdel Aziz, Hamdi Al-Mirghani, Muhammad Al-Kilani, Tariq Al-Ebiary, and Hoda Al-Mufti.
