The Heat Exhaustion and Disease Prevention Campaign honors its strategic partners

Sharjah, December 19 / WAM / The Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah today honored the strategic partners in the Heat Exhaustion and Disease Prevention 2024 campaign for their supportive efforts to achieve the health and humanitarian goals of the campaign, which worked to enhance community awareness of the dangers of exposure to high temperatures and support the category of workers. With preventive means to avoid heat exhaustion or diseases resulting from it, and in appreciation of their efforts during the summer months.

The campaign, which carried the slogan “Your safety is our goal,” targeted more than 6,000 workers at work sites in various cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, in cooperation with a number of partners from federal, local and private government agencies, within the framework of the role played by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection with its partners to improve public health. As part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at supporting constructive cooperation and exchanging knowledge and experiences to consolidate the bonds of fruitful work between partners and achieve the Ministry’s ambitious goals of enhancing the quality of healthy life in the country.

Muhammad Abdullah Al Zarouni, Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in Sharjah, confirmed that honoring the campaign’s strategic partners is an appreciation for their vital role in making the campaign a success and reaching its goals, which form part of the Ministry’s strategy to prevent diseases by launching innovative initiatives to enhance individuals’ quality of life and support lifestyles. Health.

He pointed out that the strategic cooperation with partners in the government and private sectors in implementing the campaign stations effectively contributed to reaching thousands of workers in various locations, which reflects the keenness of all parties to provide a safe and healthy work environment.

Her Excellency Iman Rashid Saif, Director General of the Health Education Department at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, said that the Council is proud of the partnerships it holds with various government and private agencies at the federal and local levels to implement initiatives that contribute to enhancing health awareness and community guidance to improve public health, noting that the success of The campaign emphasizes the importance of strategic partnerships and their role in achieving national health goals that ensure a safe working environment for all workers in Sharjah.
