25 teams participate in the first national beach volleyball round
Dubai, December 19 / WAM / The Emirates Volleyball Federation announced the participation of 25 men’s and women’s teams in the first national round of beach volleyball, which will be held from 20 to 22 December at the Kite Beach Esperia Dubai courts.
Abdulaziz Al-Salman, Secretary-General of the Volleyball Federation, said that the national beach volleyball tours are one of the initiatives launched by the Federation last season with the aim of attracting talented male and female players to participate in this game’s competitions, and to create a database about the numbers of practitioners.
He pointed out that the round’s competitions will be held over 3 days, starting tomorrow, Friday, and 15 teams will participate in the men’s category, while 10 teams will compete in the women’s category.
