Latifa bint Mohammed witnesses the Dubai Medical University graduation ceremony for 220 female students

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, witnessed the Dubai Medical University 2024 graduation ceremony, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council. For the Emirate of Dubai, it included the graduation of two new batches of 220 female students in various undergraduate and graduate specializations.

The graduation ceremony was attended by members of the Board of Trustees of the Saeed Ahmed Lootah Charitable Foundation, and faculty members at Dubai Medical University.

The female students took the oath of devotion and loyalty to the nation and its wise leadership. The ceremony, which bore the slogan “Mother,” was distinguished by its attention to mothers and families, who represent the basis for building societies, supporting children, and enabling female students to achieve success.

Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Medical University, Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, praised the historic transformation witnessed by the university, which reflects the approach of its late founder, Haj Saeed Lootah, and is embodied by the institution’s Board of Trustees with confidence and ability through the establishment of a medical academic edifice that draws on its creativity. This year, Dubai Medical University celebrates four decades since its founding, during which it witnessed major transformations from a specialized college to a leading university in the field of medical education.
