المملكة: Jeddah rain causes low visibility… and Civil Defense warns

Since the early hours of Friday morning, Jeddah Governorate has been witnessing moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by strong winds that caused horizontal visibility to decrease noticeably.
The competent authorities were mobilized to raise the highest state of alert to deal with the situation and preserve the safety of lives and property.

Safety guidelines

The Civil Defence, Traffic, and Municipality teams are working to drain the water pools, facilitate traffic, and remove any dangers that may result from the prevailing weather conditions.

The concerned authorities called on citizens and residents to be careful, follow safety instructions, and avoid going out unless absolutely necessary, in order to ensure their safety.
