"Dubai Health" Enhances the quality of life in schools

Dubai, December 20 / WAM / The Dubai Health Authority organized the interactive health forum for private schools in the Emirate of Dubai, which aims to establish the culture and principles of healthy healthy eating patterns among students, teachers, parents, and school administrations, and to enhance the concepts of quality of life, at the level of the school community. .

The forum was attended by His Excellency Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, specialized officials and experts in nutrition and school health, and a group of international speakers from Germany, Finland, Canada, and Argentina participated in it.

Dr. Ramadan Al Balushi, Advisor to the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Director of the Public Health Protection Department at the Authority, said that the forum is an important link in an important series to enhance the prevention system and quality of life in the Emirate of Dubai in general, and in schools specifically, indicating that the Authority pays attention to health and safety. Students are given the utmost attention, and it places them at the forefront of its priorities and the goals of its preventive plans and programs, out of its belief in the importance of raising the level of health fitness and achieving mental and physical balance for all male and female students, enabling them to raise the level of academic achievement. And cognitive.

He pointed out that the forum witnessed the participation of more than 100 private schools in Dubai, and was attended by 200 male and female teachers, doctors and nurses, in addition to more than 400 students and parents, with the broad participation of community members, which enriched the open dialogues and discussions with more ideas and visions about school health.

Dr. Al Balushi explained that the forum’s activities included many discussion panels between school leaders and international speakers, which revolved around the importance of modern technologies and their role in developing knowledge of healthy dietary patterns in schools, in addition to training sessions and refining experiences, which were focused on applying health curricula and innovative nutrition.
