المملكة: The final recommendation of the meeting of Arab General Representatives in NEOM for the year 2024

The Public Prosecution in the Kingdom concluded the fourth annual meeting of the Association of Arab Public Representatives, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the city of NEOM, with prominent recommendations aimed at strengthening judicial cooperation between Arab countries to confront current challenges.
The meeting recommended establishing a working group that includes experts from Arab public prosecutions in the fields of artificial intelligence, terrorist financing, and financial fraud, with the aim of developing coordination and cooperation mechanisms to combat these new crimes. This step seeks to enhance joint capabilities and address emerging challenges in the Arab region, keeping pace with technical and legal developments.
The recommendations stressed the importance of benefiting from modern technology, especially artificial intelligence, to improve the efficiency of criminal justice systems, taking into account legal and ethical frameworks to ensure the protection of human rights.
The meeting also stressed the necessity of continuing the exchange of experiences and successful practices between Arab public prosecutions, and strengthening partnerships with international and regional organizations to develop effective mechanisms to combat cross-border crimes, which contributes to achieving effective criminal justice and supporting security and stability in Arab societies.
These recommendations come as a continuation of the efforts of previous meetings, and reflect the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a founding member of the Association, to support Arab judicial cooperation and develop justice systems in the face of future challenges.
