Abu Dhabi, December 22nd / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, “may God protect him”, the Ministry of Defense, in strategic partnership with the ADNEC Group, is organizing the International Defense Exhibitions (IDEX) and Naval Defense Exhibitions (NAVDEX) between the 17th and the 21st. February 2025, which represent two highly anticipated and world-leading events within the sector, in addition to the International Defense Conference.

IDEX 2025 and NAVDEX 2025 provide an important global forum that brings together an elite group of government agency leaders, executives and experts within the defense and security sectors around the world, providing an exceptional opportunity to communicate with investors, build new partnerships, and interact with executives in the sector.

His Excellency Major General Staff Pilot Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for IDEX and NAVDEX and the accompanying international defense conference, said that organizing and hosting major exhibitions such as IDEX and NAVDEX contribute to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global destination for the defense and military industries, stressing his confidence that this event will continue to achieve distinguished successes. His Excellency Major General Mubarak Saeed Gavan Al Jabri, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Committee organizing the two exhibitions, confirmed that the national defense and security industries sector enjoys unlimited support from the wise leadership, which seeks to enhance the capabilities of the national defense industries as a vital field that keeps pace with the aspirations of the United Arab Emirates towards leadership and excellence.
He said that organizing the “IDEX” and “NAVDEX” 2025 exhibitions reflects the country’s position as a leading global center that brings together major companies specialized in this sector, and they represent a platform for enhancing cooperation and strategic partnerships with major international companies, which contributes to attracting more investments, which are an essential source of support for the economy. National achievement, sustainable development, and building competitive industrial capabilities in accordance with the highest international standards.

The sixteenth session of IDEX in 2023 and the seventh session of NAVDEX in 2023 achieved widespread success, attracting 132,507 participants at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center. The two exhibitions included 41 international pavilions, in which 1,353 exhibitors from 65 countries participated.
The most prominent new events included “IDEX Next-Gen”, the platform that brought together more than 100 startup companies from around the world, and the “IDEX Think-Tank” platform, which organized a series of sessions under the supervision of special partners, and resulted in the issuance of influential strategic reports.
