The Head of State receives a phone call from the Prime Minister of Iraq

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Excellency Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, Prime Minister of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, during which they discussed fraternal relations and opportunities for developing cooperation and joint work between the UAE and Iraq in all fields in a way that serves their mutual interests. It fulfills the aspirations of their people for progress and prosperity.

During the call, the two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues and files of common interest and exchanged views on them, stressing in this context the importance of finding peaceful settlements to the conflicts and crises taking place in the Middle East region and supporting everything that would achieve stability and prosperity for its people.

The two sides stressed the strength of the fraternal relations that bring the two countries together and their mutual keenness to continue advancing their cooperation and joint work for the benefit of their peoples and all the peoples of the region.
