The trial of the suspect in the second Trump assassination attempt was postponed

A US judge on Monday postponed the trial of the suspect in the second assassination attempt against President-elect Donald Trump until September  2025, according to a court order.

Lawyers for the suspect, whose name is Ryan Roth, sought to The trial date, which was scheduled for February 10, was postponed, and they attributed this to the large amount of evidence in the case.

Eileen Cannon, Judge of the District Court in Florida, agreed to Postponement, but she described the defense’s request to postpone the case until December 2025 as “exaggerated.”
