Qatar coach reveals the reasons for the loss to Oman
The Spanish coach of the Qatari national football team, Luis Garcia, expressed his deep sadness over the loss to the Oman national team by two goals to one in the second round of the group stage competitions of the Gulf Cup tournament held in Kuwait.
During the press conference after the confrontation, Garcia described the defeat as harsh and difficult in light of the good performance presented by the Qatari team.
The coach said: “I am satisfied with what the players did despite the loss to Oman. We played our way and tried to come out with a positive result, but this is the way football is, there are wins and losses.”
He added: “We tried to diversify the way of playing and provide spaces in order to reach the opponent’s area, but in the end we did not succeed.”
He concluded: “The loss was harsh and difficult for us because we were able to come away with at least a draw, but we will work to correct and improve the level in the future.”< /span>
