The Egyptian Youth Union appreciates President Sisi’s decision to pardon 54 Sinai residents

The Union of Egyptian Youth Abroad, headed by Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, confirmed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s decision to pardon 54 convicts from Sinai comes in appreciation of their role during the purge war and to support the development and stability efforts launched by the state in Sinai to improve infrastructure.

The Federation’s Board of Directors and members appreciated the presidential pardon decision, which came in honor of the people of Sinai, after they played an influential role in Egypt’s war against terrorism in recent years. They helped the state a lot against the terrorist organizations that tried to establish themselves in the Sinai Peninsula, as they served as a first line of defense against terrorist attempts to use these areas as bases to implement their plans.

 

The Youth Union noted Egyptians abroad noted that the decision enhances the sense of national belonging among the people of Sinai, as well as that it opens the door to more cooperation and participation from the people of Sinai in issues of development and security, calling on the government to adopt programs to rehabilitate and integrate the released into society. Through job opportunities or small projects, to ensure their return to normal life and contribute to the development of their region.

 

The president and members of the union extended greetings, thanks and appreciation to President Sisi for this humanitarian initiative, appreciating the need to continue National efforts to achieve comprehensive development in Sinai, which is witnessing a major transformation at all levels thanks to the directives of the political leadership.
