Indian companies are the new members of the Dubai Chamber

A recent analysis by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, revealed that Indian investors topped the list of nationalities of new non-Emirati companies joining the Chamber’s membership during the first nine months of this year, with 12,142 new companies, which reflects Dubai’s attractiveness to investors. And businessmen of Indian nationality.
Pakistan came in second place with 6,061 new companies, while Egypt came in third place, with the number of new Egyptian companies registered as members of the chamber reaching 3,611 companies.
In addition, the number of new Syrian companies that joined the Chamber’s membership from the beginning of this year until the end of last September reached 2,062 companies, making them ranked fourth in the list of nationalities of new companies, while the United Kingdom ranked fifth, registering 1,886 new companies. As for new Bangladeshi companies, they ranked sixth in terms of company nationality, with 1,669 new companies joining the chamber’s membership.
Iraq came in seventh place on the list with 1,346 new companies joining, while Chinese companies came in eighth place with 1,109 new companies joining the chamber’s membership.
Jordanian companies came in ninth place on the list, as 1,069 new Jordanian companies were registered as members of the chamber during the first nine months of 2024, while Sudan came in 10th place, with 1,007 new Sudanese companies joining the chamber’s membership.
In terms of the sectoral distribution of new companies joining the membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in the first nine months of this year, the trade and services sector ranked first, accounting for 41.5% of the total new companies joining the Chamber’s membership, while the real estate, leasing, and business services sector ranked second, accounting for 41.5% of the total new companies joining the Chamber’s membership. It accounted for 33.3% of the total companies, followed by the construction sector in third place with 10.4% of the total, while the transportation, storage and communications sector came in fourth place, accounting for 8.6% of the total. Total new companies, and the social and personal services sector ranked fifth with 6.8%.
