Dubai Airports: Priority travel for those affected by cancellations

Dubai Airports published clarifications for travelers through its official account on the “X” platform, coinciding with the resumption of limited flight operations at Dubai and Al Maktoum International Airports.

She stressed that travelers should not go to the airport if the airline does not confirm the operation of their flight, noting that they will be denied entry if there is no confirmation.

She explained that operations are being gradually expanded in coordination with airlines and competent authorities, while closely monitoring the situation, and that updates will be published through official channels.

She indicated that flight schedules may continue to be modified after the resumption of operation, as airlines reposition aircraft and rebalance their networks, calling on travelers to continue checking the airline’s website or application even if the flight has been previously confirmed.

She added that priority in the current stage is given to departing flights, with movement increasing gradually according to available capacity and availability of airspace.

She pointed out that the decision to operate each flight is up to the airline in question, based on the positioning of the aircraft, the availability of crews, and the capacity of the airspace.

She stated: Amendments may occur, calling on travelers to follow the airlines’ communication to obtain immediate updates before heading to the airport.
