30 prizes in the Al Dhafra Falconry Festival competition
Al Dhafra, December 25 / WAM / The falconry competition at the Al Dhafra Festival recorded the participation of 419 falconers who competed in 6 rounds of the Talwah competitions (4 rounds for the chicks category, two rounds for the girnas category), for which 30 prizes worth 930 thousand UAE dirhams were allocated.
The competition continued for 4 consecutive days at Falcons Square in Zayed City in the Al Dhafra Region, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The Al Dhafra Festival Organizing Committee crowned the winners at the conclusion of the falconry competition, in the presence of Eid Darwish Al Mazrouei, Director of Finance and Administration at the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club, and Saeed Al Muhairi from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
