A partnership between the Dubai Marathon 2025 and"Guinness"
Dubai, December 25 / WAM / The organizing committee of the 2025 Dubai Marathon announced the conclusion of a partnership with Guinness World Records, which gives participants the opportunity to enter the world by choosing records to break.
The 23rd edition of the Dubai Marathon will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council. The event will provide a distinguished platform that brings together athletes and amateurs from all over the world.
Opportunities to break records in the marathon are crystallized through speed or through innovative ideas such as running in a specific uniform or in groups. Among the numbers presented are the fastest marathon while dribbling a football or basket, the fastest half marathon blindfolded, and the fastest marathon while wearing a school or medical uniform. The fastest marathon is run by a father and son or mother and daughter, the fastest marathon on skis, and others.
Shadi Jad, Senior Marketing Manager at Guinness, confirmed that the initiative aims to encourage the UAE community to practice sports in an innovative way.
He said that this partnership comes to encourage all members of society to practice sports and physical activity and to publish their achievements through the Guinness World Records channels, noting that submission of all applications for participation will be made available without any fees, while facilitating the approval of records.
