Mahmoud Bentayj begins the second phase of his rehabilitation program in Zamalek
Moroccan Mahmoud Bentayj, the left back of the first football team at Zamalek Club, began the second stage of his qualifying program on the sidelines of today’s training session, Thursday, which was held at the club’s stadium, in preparation for the upcoming Al-Ittihad Alexandria match in the Premier League competition.
The left-back suffered an injury to the joint between the collarbone and shoulder blade during the match against Enyimba, Nigeria, in the second round of the group stage matches of the African Confederation Cup.
The team’s technical director, Swiss Christian Gross, held a meeting with Bentayj to check on his condition and the developments in the treatment and rehabilitation program he is undergoing.
The Zamalek club’s first football team is preparing to play the Al-Ittihad Alexandria match, scheduled for next Sunday as part of the seventh round matches of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
