"Nutcracker" International celebrates the audience of the Egyptian Opera House
Within the activity plan of the Ministry of Culture, and under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, and on the occasion of the New Year’s celebrations, the Opera House, headed by Dr. Lamia Zayed, launched “The Nutcracker” performances. The International Ballet of the Cairo Opera Ballet, accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, led by Maestro Nader Abbasi and directed by Armenia Kamel. The second show was a surprise for the audience, as the child visitors received the title of champion of the scene after being given symbolic gifts to welcome them and instill in their minds the motivation for interest in fine arts. And encouraging them to pursue various forms of serious creativity as one of the means of raising new, conscious generations.
On stage and in front of a large crowd, the artistic elements of Ksara’s show were integrated. Nutcrackers. Between the lighting, décor, and clothes, the models’ movements harmonize with the musical phrases of the Russian Tchaikovsky to tell the chapters of the famous story written by the Frenchman Alexandre Dumas, Sr., inspired by the novel The Nutcracker. And The Mice King by Ernst Hoffmann.
As a result of the dazzling vocabulary and elements of the show, the audience traveled to the world of imagination and the dreams of the beautiful little girl Clara were embodied before them on Christmas Eve after she received a " “Nutcracker” From her family friend, the godfather and toy maker Druslemmer, as a gift for the New Year, and she admires the toy that was accidentally broken by her brother Fritz, so she becomes sad and goes to sleep to see that the toy has returned to its original state and then turns into a handsome prince. A set of fairy tales take place between Clara, her prince, and Christmas toys.
It is worth noting that the ballet "The Nutcracker" It started on the evening of Thursday, December 26, and continues at eight in the evening on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, December 27, 28, 29, and 30, 2024, in addition to the morning concert that was held at two in the afternoon on Friday, 27 and another at eleven thirty in the morning on Sunday, December 29.< /p>
