Ahmed bin Hamdan stresses the importance "International Camp of Modern Sailing"
Sharjah, December 28 / WAM / Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation, stressed the importance of the “International Modern Sailing Camp”, organized by the Al Hamriyah Club, in marketing the UAE as a destination for marine sports.
This came during his visit today to the “camp”, which began on December 26 and will continue until January 2, with the participation of international players from the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Japan, Britain and Spain.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan was received by His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriya Club, and a number of officials.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan inspected the “camp” and met with the participants and the technical committee. He also inspected the training headquarters of the Al-Hamriyah Sailing Team, which hosts the camp.
