The Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain visits the camel budget at the Mohammed bin Zayed Camel Racing Festival

Umm Al Quwain, December 28 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, visited the site of the camel race at the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Festival for Purebred Arabian Camel Racing and the Camel Race “Al-Libasa 2024-2025”, held in Al-Labasa Square in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain.
His Highness was accompanied during the visit by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Presidential Aviation Authority, His Excellency Major General Staff Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, and His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, Director General of the Camel Racing Federation and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Authority. Acting Heritage Heritage, and Mohammed Abdullah bin Adid Al Muhairi, Director of the Festival’s Camel Adornment.
His Highness was briefed on some of the camel auctioneering competitions, the procedures followed, the arbitration mechanism, and the workflow on site. He met with members of the judging, sorting, and likeness committees, and the medical committee, and listened to a brief explanation from the festival’s camel auctioneer director about the stages of the auction, from the moment of entry to the crowning of the winners.
The festival witnesses wide participation from camel owners from within the country and from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in the camel grooming and the mahaleb competition, within 28 rounds for which 280 valuable prizes were allocated, including 24 rounds and 240 prizes for the camel grooming distributed over 6 age categories (Mafarid, Haqaqiq, Laqaya, Radio , folds, around) within 4 daily rounds, and 40 prizes for the mahalab competition are distributed.
