The UAE Foreign Ministry stressed “the importance of dialogue and negotiation as the only way to end the conflict and secure a political process and national consensus towards a civilian-led government,” stressing that it is working with all concerned parties, regional partners and the international community to find a peaceful solution to the conflict.

The Sudanese Foreign Minister, Ali Youssef Al-Sharif, said that the initiative of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to mediate between Khartoum and Abu Dhabi “will return positive results.” On Sudan.

Al-Sharif concluded his speech by saying: “The last thing President Erdogan presented was his proposal for mediation between Sudan and the Emirates, which is an initiative that we expect will achieve positive results for Sudan at the governmental, popular and leadership levels".

The head of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council welcomed “any Turkish role that contributes to stopping the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Militia,” and also affirmed his “confidence in the positions of the Turkish president and his government in support of the Sudanese people and their choices ".

Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan praised “Turkey’s positions in support of Sudan,” appreciating its efforts for peace and stability in the region and the region, and its treatment of many issues at the regional and international levels, pointing to its success in “addressing the Syrian file,” as he put it< /span>.
