Conclusion of the first “Smile” dental forum in Jeddah

The activities of the first dental forum, organized by the “Smile” Association for Voluntary Dental Services, concluded this evening, in the presence of an elite group of doctors, dental consultants, and members of the association’s board of directors and leaders.

The forum activities included training and educational workshops and lectures that addressed a range of topics, including topics: management of teeth treated with endodontic medicine, digital access cavities: review and update, definition of cosmetic dentistry, obstructive sleep apnea and the role of dentistry, parents’ knowledge of dental injuries: a cross-sectional study, and the definition. The importance of periodontology, splinting techniques for affected teeth, and the five new techniques in modern dentistry.

The Executive Director of the Society, Abdulaziz Fatni, confirmed that the forum witnessed great interaction between lecturers and participants in the lectures and workshops, noting that the forum aims to provide comprehensive training that enhances the competencies of dental specialists, improves understanding of contemporary dentistry, and enhances professional confidence among practitioners and different groups of society.
