The UAE national team raises its tally to 17 colored medals in… "Arab track"

Cairo, December 28 / WAM / The national cycling team won 8 new colored medals on the second day of the Arab track championship competitions, which concluded today in Cairo.
The colored medals were represented in 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze, bringing the total number of medals at the end of the second day of the tournament to 17 medals, 6 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze.
In detail, the second day of the tournament witnessed the brilliance of the national team cyclist, Mohammed Al-Mutaiwi, who succeeded in winning two gold medals, the first in the elimination race and the second in the individual pursuit for adults, to continue his brilliance in the Arab Championship, and the young cyclist Youssef Abdullah Amiri also succeeded in winning the first gold medal of its kind for the youth category. The UAE in the Olympic aluminum race, and Marwa Kahour concluded the UAE gold medal on the second day by winning the individual pursuit gold for young women, increasing her gold tally. The UAE reached 6 gold medals at the end of the second day.
The Arab Championship also witnessed the return of national team player Hoda Hussein, after two years away from the game due to illness that prevented her from exercising. She won her second medal in the championship by achieving silver in the women’s speed race. Also on the second day, cyclist Khaled Al Nuaimi won silver in the youth scrash race, and cyclist Ali won. Al-Nasrai won silver in the youth speed race, and Zahra Hussein won bronze in the aluminum race for women.
