Bahrain imports aluminum oxide worth 461 million dinars in 11 months

Crude oil topped the list of the Kingdom’s imports in terms of value

The Bahrain Open Data Portal revealed the Kingdom’s imports for the year 2024, with aluminum oxide ore topping the list of the Kingdom’s imports in terms of value, as the total value of Bahrain’s crude imports during the period from January to last November amounted to 461 million dinars. In January of this year, Bahrain imported more than 320,000 tons of aluminum from Australia, worth more than 45 million dinars. As for the month of February, about 150 thousand tons were imported from Australia, with a value exceeding 21 million dinars, while the import of aluminum for the month of March amounted to 326 thousand tons, with a value reaching more than 47 million dinars. As for the month of April, 218 thousand tons were imported, with a value of more than 32 million dinars, while the volume of imports increased during the month of May to reach 265 thousand tons, with a value of more than 39 million dinars. The import value decreased in June to reach 176 thousand tons, with a value of more than 26 million dinars, while July recorded a significant increase in the volume and value of imported aluminum oxide, as the import volume reached 322 thousand tons, with a value of more than 59 million dinars. As for the month of August, the import volume reached 260 thousand tons, with a value of 50 million dinars, while it decreased slightly during the month of September, as 235 thousand tons were imported, with a value of more than 46 million dinars. The Kingdom imported 234 thousand tons of aluminum oxide during the month. October, with a value of 47 million dinars. It also imported more than 214 thousand tons in November, with a value of 49 million dinars.
