North Korea is moving to adopt its toughest strategy towards America

North Korea is scheduled to adopt its “tougher” strategy towards the United States, at the conclusion of a ruling party meeting, the official agency reported Sunday.
The North Korean Central News Agency said that a large meeting of the Workers’ Party, headed by Kim Jong Un, was held from Monday to Friday, ahead of the New Year, at which the North Korean leader usually delivers a speech.
The agency added in a report on the discussions, “The United States is the most reactionary country, and considers anti-communism an established state policy.”

Countermeasures

The party also criticized the rapprochement between South Korea, Japan, and the United States, considering that these three partners have become a “nuclear military bloc whose goal is aggression.”
Faced with this situation, Kim Jong Un “clarified” the strategy that will be adopted to implement “the most severe anti-US measures, which will be launched in a hostile manner,” the Korean Central News Agency reported, without providing details.
This type of conference held by the Workers’ Party, as well as Kim’s speeches to North Korean officials, usually serves as a platform for Pyongyang to make major policy announcements.
North Korea strongly opposes the United States, and regularly attacks South Korea’s leaders, accusing them of being “puppets” in the hands of the Americans.
