DEWA announces measures to ensure continuity of electricity supply during rains

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced measures to ensure continuity of electricity supply during the rainy season.
She said in a blog post on her account on the “X” platform: “If the outage is the result of an internal malfunction, you must contact an external specialist technician. However, if the reason for the outage is not clear, you must use the “Smart Response” service available through the Authority’s digital channels or the “Dubai Now” application to find out the cause of the malfunction.”
She added: “If the smart response system discovers that the malfunction is resulting from a problem inside the home, it will be directed to contact an external specialist technician. However, if the problem is not resulting from an internal malfunction, the system will direct the user to request a field visit from the authority’s technical team.”
