Rybakina achieved a historic achievement before participating in Mubadala Tennis
PERTH, 30 December / WAM / Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina, ranked sixth in the world and the holder of the title of the last edition of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Tennis Championship, qualified today, Monday, for the quarter-finals of the United Mixed Team Cup, currently being held in the Australian city of Perth, for the first time in her history, with her victory 6- 4 and 6-3 over Maria Sakkari, ensuring her advancement to the quarter-finals in the third group of the tournament.
The holder of the Abu Dhabi Open Tennis Championship in 2024 is preparing to participate in the next edition, which will be held from February 1 to 8, 2025 at the International Tennis Complex in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, while before that she will participate in the Australian Open Tennis Championship next month.
