It affirmed its commitment to applying regulations and instructions to all establishments located within the scope of the project, by removing violations related to irregular uses, and ensuring compliance with building and operating permits, which contributes to enhancing the quality of the urban landscape and improving The urban environment and raising the level of regulatory compliance.
Continuation of industrial activities
The secretariat stated that the regulatory work in the Al-Jawhara neighborhood includes stopping the activities of workshops that do not have municipal operating licenses or safety certificates, while continuing industrial activities and workshops that are legally licensed for a specific period until the approved use is modified and given a transitional period to evacuate in accordance with the regulatory procedures.
The work also includes removing existing encroachments on public facilities, building setbacks, encroachments on infrastructure, and notification of damaged vehicles. And abandoned buildings in preparation for their transfer to designated shelter centers, in addition to removing the illegal hangars and structures that do not have licenses at the expense of their owners, and stopping activities inside buildings that do not have valid municipal operating licenses.
The secretariat indicated that the regular warehouses will be notified to address the visual distortions in the facades of the buildings and fences in accordance with the approved urban identity of the axis, in preparation for the reuse of the sites after transferring their activities to the industrial zones. Approved.
Automotive sector services
With regard to car showrooms, the secretariat explained that they will continue during a transitional period until the completion of the Auto City project in the south of the governorate, which extends over an area exceeding 5.5 million square meters, and includes an integrated system for services for the automotive sector in a way that supports the reorganization of activities related to the axis.
The secretariat confirmed that these measures come within the requirements of developing the Prince Mohammed bin Salman axis, and reorganizing the areas adjacent to it according to the approved uses, in a way that enhances the goals of quality of life and raises the efficiency of the landscape. Urban, with the continuation of field follow-up work and the application of regular procedures against violators.
The secretariat also allocated direct communication channels to serve the beneficiaries, in addition to providing field support centers at the project site and the headquarters of the South Sub-municipality, to support the work of organizing and coordinating with the owners of activities falling within the scope of treatment.
