“Marafiq” receives a notification from Aramco to modify the prices of energy products

Yesterday, the Jubail and Yanbu Electricity and Water Utilities Company (Marafiq) received a notice from Saudi Aramco regarding an increase in the prices of energy products used in production, starting from 01-01-2025 AD.
The company said in a statement on Saudi Tadawul: The expected financial impact of the increase in energy prices for the year 2025 is estimated at an increase of 13.48% of the total cost of sales, based on the company’s latest audited annual financial statements for the year 2023. This effect will appear starting from the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025.
It should be noted that the company is working to improve the impact of this increase by further improving production efficiency and factory reliability and reducing the company’s overall costs.
