14 countries participate in the tournament "Seventh group of ability" In Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 2nd January, 2017 (WAM) – The Seventh Regional Endurance Group announced the launch of the competitions of the first edition of its team and individual endurance championships for a distance of 121 km, in the two-star category, the day after tomorrow, Saturday, in the fields of Boudheib Village in Al Khatm in Abu Dhabi.

The group held a press conference today, Thursday, in the village of Boudheib, to announce the details of the event, which was officially approved on the agenda of the International Equestrian Federation, in cooperation between the group and the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, and under the supervision of the International Federation.

The tournament witnesses the participation of 128 male and female riders, and 8 teams from 14 countries in the seventh regional group, as part of the interest in endurance championship activities at the level of the group’s member countries.

Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, Secretary General of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, said during the press conference that this championship constitutes a new addition to endurance sports in the region.
