"Heritage Corner" Al-Emirati receives 2,000 visitors in the Gulf Cup

KUWAIT, 4th January, 2018 (WAM) — The UAE’s heritage corner in “Souq Sharq” in the Kuwaiti capital received about 2,000 visitors of Gulf and Arab nationalities, as part of the activities of the Arabian Gulf Football Cup, “Khaleeji Zain 26”.

Zainab Al Harithi, supervisor of the Corner’s activities, said that the visitors learned about the heritage and cultural content of the UAE, which included folk art, the traditional Emirati dress for women represented by the incense, burqa and gold, in addition to various popular foods and the aesthetics of traditional handicrafts.
