المملكة: Strawberries are an ideal agricultural option for cold climates

Agricultural guidelines issued by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture stated that strawberries are plants that love cold climates, as they are distinguished by their ability to tolerate light frost. To achieve optimal productivity, it is recommended to plant them in environments with temperatures ranging between 6 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Strawberries stand out as a flexible agricultural option due to their ability to grow over a wider range between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius, making them suitable for diverse agricultural regions.

This plant is distinguished by its high nutritional value, as it is a rich source of vitamins and antioxidants, which adds additional value to agricultural production.

The Ministry points out the importance of choosing the appropriate soil, such as sandy or light clay soil with good drainage, and ensuring adequate lighting to achieve ideal growth.
It also encourages the use of modern technologies, such as drip irrigation systems and cover agriculture, to improve productivity and conserve water resources.
