King Fahd Hospital in Jazan performs 5,000 medical procedures in one day care

King Fahd Central Hospital in Jazan, one of the facilities of the Jazan Health Cluster, represented by the hospital’s day care department, carried out 5,334 medical and surgical procedures during the calendar year 2024. The procedures varied between precise specialties such as brain and neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and arteriovenous fistula operations for patients with kidney failure. In addition to general surgeries, ear, nose and throat surgeries, base of the skull, foot and ankle surgery, Pediatric orthopedic surgeries, and other one-day operations, conducted by specialized medical staff to ensure the provision of quality services to the people and residents of the region.
