“United Flat Glass” receives notice of gas price adjustment

Last Thursday, the United Arab Flat Glass Company (United Flat Glass) received a notice from the Electricity and Water Utility Company in Jubail and Yanbu “Marafiq”, amending the prices of gas used in the company’s operations, starting from January 1, 2025.
The company said in a statement on Saudi Tadawul: The financial impact of the amendment will be an approximate increase of 1.4% of the total cost of sales, according to the company’s latest audited annual financial statements for the year 2023.
The company has begun working on implementing measures to improve operational efficiency and optimal energy use to mitigate the impact of increased costs.
The financial impact will appear in the results of the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025.
